NUMEROLOGY,
COLOUR AND CRYSTALS
Numerology is the study of numbers. Numbers are a
universal language and many believe that all the answers to all the
questions we have can be found in numbers if we learn how to read their
own very unique language. The same could be said about colour so if
we put both together, who knows what we will be able to do!?
Each number has a meaning and energy of its own and
these interpretations can be traced back to ancient civilisations. Numbers
have always had a magical appeal through history and this fascination
is no different today. The system most often used in numerology is the
Greek philosopher, mathematician and astrologer Pythagoras’s.
Pythagoras believed that beauty and harmony could be explained by numbers.
He is sometimes called the father of numerology.
Every thing is energy (including us!) and everything
has its own vibration, the colours, the chakras and the crystals all
give us an energy we can use to understand ourselves better and help
us to stay healthy and well and numbers are no different. Each number
has its own vibration which is often associated with a colour. I have
put together the numbers 1 to 9 with the nine chakra colours I use for
healing and the crystals and power animals that all vibrate at the same
frequency. When you work out your life path number this will help you
to find the energies that will assist you most in following your life
journey.
Each of us has a personal energy vibration that is
more comfortable with energies that are similar to our own. You may
find that your life path colour is one you have always loved and the
crystals with the same vibration are always ones you are drawn to. This
does not mean that you will exclusively need only these crystals, only
that they will be more likely to help when life seems like an uphill
struggle. I keep a bag of my life path crystals separately from my others
so when I feel I am not coping or straying from my path I get them out
so they can gently put me back in balance and remind me where I need
to be.
There are many numbers in a numerology chart but the
most important number is your birth date as you can not change this
number. I have added the personal
year vibrations as well which you also work out with your birth
date.
LIFE PATH NUMBER
This is the path you have chosen to give you the most
chance of learning the lessons you need to in this lifetime. You work
it out by adding all the numbers of your date of birth together until
they are reduced to a single digit.
For example: my birthday is 5/3/1954. So I add 5+3+1+9+5+4
= 27
and then add 2+7= 9.
So 9 is my life path number and Magenta is my life path colour.
Now look at the numbers to see a brief outline of
the lessons you came to learn. There always seems to be one that we
struggle with, mine is being practical with my finances!!
There are also some of the crystals that vibrate to
the same frequency as you. You will find that most of our products on our shop site
